Designersblock show at Southbank for London Design Festival 2012
Designersblock 2012 is happening right now, underneath the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Southbank Centre, until this Sunday 23rd September. These are my iPhone photos. (This page is in progress until I get quotes from the designers. If you know any of them, tell them to email me!)

Paul Bishop — The New English
I’m all about marrying traditional ceramics skills and materials with a contemporary aesthetic, merging art with everyday objects. It takes zero energy to explain what plate a does, so why not put 100% into making it look beautiful? Designersblock is great for us. It’s a real opportunity for us to express ourselves and show off what we do, and there’s an impetus to develop new ideas. I loved spraying the big red heart. Oh, and the free beer — always a winner in my eyes! www.thenewenglish.co.uk
